Audio issues have been happening April. After 5-8 minutes of streaming in OBS, audio cuts out for a couple seconds then interface audio returns delayed then continues to cut out and come back every 5-8 minutes. Previously only the mic/interface audio cut out but now desktop audio cuts out too (game audio, YouTube video, Spotify.) Audio issues don't occur when recording through OBS, and there are no audio issues with other streaming software (Twitch Studio, Melon) but I prefer using OBS.
What we've tried already:
- switching out webcams
- using different audio interfaces
- reinstalling OBS
- reinstalling Windows
- Updated and reinstalled all drivers
- I've made sure my sample rate, buffer size, and bitrate are the same for OBS and my audio interfaces
- running OBS as admin did not help
- streaming with and without Device timestamps
- upgraded from Windows 10 to 11
- checked exclusive mode
