I noticed recently that when playing a game, my OBS Studio preview would stutter for a fraction of a second every couple of seconds, whether I was streaming or not.
I had a play around with my encoding settings but nothing made a difference.
I then decided to disable my sources in each of my scenes one at a time and then moved onto removing sources, whilst viewing the Stats window.
Only after I had removed Slideshows from all my sources completely, did I stop losing frames due to rendering lag.
Now the loss occurs when viewing scenes which never had a slideshow on them and also if any of my 5 scenes had a slideshow, then the rendering loss would occur.
Is this normal for slideshows to use resources or be included in rendering when they're not even shown?
There are options to shutdown browser sources when not visible or disable webcams when not visible, should slideshows have the same option?
Log file of short stream attached
