heya folks hoping to get a quick solution to this as we are streaming right now :) we are using a webcam to capture voice whilst streaming Xbox 360 using a Roxio game cap HD Pro but the noise threshold seems to be not as efficient as when i stream using a headset so do you guys think that there is a problem with compatability for the threshold combined with my webcam?

Webcams' built-in microphones aren't exactly known for providing clean, directed audio. They're mostly there to give people something to Skype with, where basic communication is the goal, rather than quality. So the noise part of the signal-to-noise ratio is significantly higher. Humans can pick it out, but computers have a harder time. As the noise threshold relies on a large change to determine when someone is speaking, the raised ambient noise floor 'confuses' it.
