Remove video source AFTER recording is complete?

Hi, I am using this for the first time and everything worked great, except for the fact that I had two sources in there. One was my screen and everything that I was doing, but a random settings window covers most of it (even though I didn't see this when I was recording) in the final video.

Is there any way to re-edit the video and remove that source video? I'm so bummed, this was a nearly 2 hour video that I had recording and most of it can't be seen. Thanks in advance.
 
I'm afraid not. The video is what it is. No layers anymore, and (probably) not even transparency, just a flat grid of pixels with a single color each.

Do you at least know how it happened, so you only have to re-record once?
