Question / Help Remove Automatic Fade Transition

Hello everyone!

Well, let me see if anyone can help me...

I am trying to build an assembling/disassembling animated scene with the CLR Browser Plugin. The animations are perfect, but when I switch from a scene to another, there is a fade effect on the elements of the scene... is there any way to remove this effect?

Another doubt, is there any way to set a delay to the scene elements show themselves? something like, element 1 show up, thank there is 2 seconds delay, than element 2 pop up, than another 5 seconds, and element 3 appear...

No, in OBS Classic there is no way to manage transitions, or remove the built-in fade. Custom transitions are planned for the OBStudio rewrite, but is not yet implemented.

Is there any way in your animation to hold the start-state by a second or two to allow the quick-fade to complete, before the animation starts, assuming it's a standalone animation type thing and that you're not just trying to make a custom wipe.

So far, the only way people have done custom transitions is a funky workaround using a global video source in both scenes, with a hold in the middle on a static splash (when the actual scene transition is triggered, causing an invisible fade as it's fading to and from the same image) and the video completes on the second scene. Down side, each time you want to swap scenes you have to go out and re-trigger the video manually. Also can't switch to a scene without the transition video source included and enabled, or it'll just get to the midpoint, and the scene switch will just fade to the new scene.

Short version though, if you want to use a custom transition, you're just going to need to wait for the rewrite.
