Question / Help Remove 30-40 second Stream delay

Hey sorry if im posting this in the wrong place just joined 2 mins ago


i have been using obs for a while but there is about a 30-40 second delay on all my streams
my internet speeds are 10 ping - 28mb down - 6mb up

i made sure that the delay on obs is set to zero and here are my encoding settings

use cbr: enabled
use custom buffer size: enabled
quality 10
use custom buffer size : enabled
max bit-rate 2500
Buffer size 2500

Its Twitch's fault. You may be able to reduce the stream delay by setting your key-interval to 1 second instead of 2, but that will also decrease your stream quality. However, that said, you're not going to be able to have as little delay as you could a few months ago, and it has nothing to do with OBS.

Find a better streaming site. :(

Don't use a streaming site that makes use of hls like Twitch or YouTube.
