Question / Help Remote Start for OBS studio

Hi all im new bear so bear with me if I am not posting tin the right section. I have starting using OBS studio and just found it super fantastic. I am using to stream Xbox One games with remote play and OBS installed on same pc. I just found out that you can start and stop steaming via remote start. I have tried to install the plugin but from what I understand it works only in OBS classic. Is there a work around to use it in OBS studio as even the android app is fantastic.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you can send key presses to the PC then you can start anything via Settings>Hotkeys.

Hi have hotkeys set to start and stop the steam. Any guidance how to send keys presses to the pc remotely will be very appreciated Thanks.

This is another task... Try to google a bit, maybe "piHotKeys" app or so, I don't know really is it helps or not.

Ok thanks will do. Hopefully the app and plugin will be implemented soon ins the Studio version

I have yet to try it but it is on my list. My client exclusively uses OBS Remote for OBS Classic.

So this basically is not a straight forward install I need to add lines to the code. There is no installer. Sorry for asking but Im not that much in coding or if you could guide me to a website how to do it will be very great. Thanks
