Remote Desktop app for OBS

I'm using WireCast right now to run a morning announcements show at a school. WireCast has accompanying software called Desktop Presenter. With this app, you can add a remote desktop to WireCast to show content off another computer using an IP address on a local network.
We are considering switching to OBS due to licensing issues and I am curious as to whether or not OBS has a similar function where I can transmit a desktop remotely from another computer.

Thanks for your help in advance!

There are many ways (and apps) to transmit video from one system to another. Does OBS Studio have a native 'remote desktop' function? no, not that I'm aware of.
Your options, as I can think of them (and there are others, I'm sure)
1. Use a native listener in OBS Studio, and find an app that would capture the desktop and send that to native listener in OBS Studio (as can be done with RTSP, and some other protocols)
2. Use NDI or other 3rd party sender and receiver. Your easier approach would be something with a native OBS Studio plugin (like NDI), but you could also display to a monitor (including virtual ?) and then monitor capture that? [not sure on this last one... haven't tested it, and probably plenty of caveats]

Another options would be to RDP (or VNC, or other remote desktop viewer of choice) FROM OBS Studio PC into PC with source you want 'capture' with OBS Studio. Then adjust that viewing to be a window (not full screen, unless you have a 2nd/spare monitor to display this content on... which is how I'd do it). something like that
