Remote Controlling scene changes from another device

Hey there,

I'm wondering if there is a way to remote control obs from another device. What I'm wanting to do is change scenes and camera angles from my computer while my partner is streaming. I know of the application but from what I read it is still limited to the same network only. Is this still a limitation?
