Question / Help Reducing stream latency

I recently got a PC mic and try to talk to people who watch my stream as much as I can while playing, but it's hard to interact with them when there is such a gaping delay. The current time of delay is 11 seconds, I was hoping to cut it down to at least 6 or so, any help is appreciated.

Older versions of OBS had more internal buffering. Do you use the latest version?

I think so, my version is .0472b

Try one of the test versions...the buffer reduction should be there, but not in 472b.
