Question / Help Redscreen...

I have my ps4 plugged into my hdmi splitter and that going through my avermedia lgp and that connected to my labtop..for some reason when I select the avermedia in my settings on obs and preview the stream it's just a red screen...sorry if I posted this in wrong thread

You need to download the Avermedia Stream Engine and once that is installed select it as the device in OBS.

You will probably need to turn off Skype and/or Chrome while dong this as they can prevent the Stream Engine from being detected in OBS.

I don't have Skype or Google Chrome and I did download the driver from avermedia

I downloaded the stream engine and still get a red screen...when I go to preview it

Have you:
1. Enabled the Stream Engine?
2. Selected the Stream Engine as your Video Capture Drvice in OBS?

Idk what you mean by enable it but I downloaded the stream engine ND when I go to edit my scene I add the video capture and edit that and choose stream engine but it never configuration my resolution I always have to put it in custom...
