Question / Help Recordings Too Dark

Hi all, I've been searching the web for days on this one, came across a few things that could be a fix but nothing has worked. I'm using windows 10 64bit and OBS studio. I've also tried other gameplay recording software. When I stream the recording looks just like what I'm seeing on my monitor, however when I record, the file that plays back is a lot darker than the actual gameplay, what appears on my monitor, and what shows on a stream. I've tried adding a filter with gamma, contrast, and brightness correction. That shows up in the preview and also on the thumbnail for the video that is rendered, however once again when I play the video it is still darker than what I'm seeing and doesn't seem to change. Anyone got a solution to this? It's driving me crazy.

Hey, figures I found a solution to the problem just after posting about it, even though I tried for 2 days lol. Anyway, if anyone else has this problem, it has to do with your NVIDIA settings/drivers. For some reason they weren't taking effect. What you have to do, if you're on Windows 10 is right click on the desktop background, click on the NVIDIA control panel (granted you're using their product) and reset it to the default. They then started to take effect and I was able to use the desktop settings or switch over to NVIDIA and control the media player/video render settings from there.
