Hi everyone,
I've been messing with settings for two weeks now and i cannot for the life of me get this to record with smooth playback.
When i play games i get no FPS issues at all. I have OBS on a second screen so i can keep an eye on it. The problem i have is as soon as i start recording i can see OBS not running smoothly, like it's dropping frames. When i stop recording and watch the video i clearly isn't running at 60 FPS Even though I have it set to. The quality is good but just not smooth.It's clunky and unenjoyable to watch.
However when I record with Shadowplay is super, super smooth.
Here's my rig, any help would be greatly appreciated.
ASUS RoG Strix GTX 1080
i7 7700k @4.8ghz
32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum @ 3200
