Question / Help Recordings not saving anywhere

I've watched a few tutorials now and read a few post on how to record with OBS, but clearly I'm missing something.

If I click "Start Recording" and then wait a while and stop the recording? It should save somewhere right or is there something else I need to click to make sure it saves?

I have a File Path set, but still nothing. Anyways here's a log in hopes someone can answer my questions

And if you select File > Open Recordings Folder it remains empty after each recording attempt? That seems odd. Could you try a different folder or a different drive to see if the same thing happens? Maybe run OBS as administrator in case it's being prevented from writing files for some reason.
 
Ya it remained empty. Changing the folder seemed to have fixed the problem which is odd because I wasn't previously having a problem with other recording software writing files there. Anyways that was a simple fix, thanks!
