Question / Help Recordings Include Random Colors

I've noticed that my recent records will show random colors (green/yellow) at the bottom of the screen when finished recording.

This only shows up when I watch the video afterwards (using VLC); during recording it doesn't show.

I can't find anything in the logs pertaining to the issue.

Any help would be appreciated, I'd love to get back into YouTube.

Can you post your log file anyways?

Can you upload a short sample video file showing this effect to a file-sharing site so we can see for ourselves?

Can you explain your set up? Trying to diagnose this based on one green-hornet screenshot is impossible.
