Question / Help Recordings Freeze

So I try to record something on CSGO and it records for a solid 4 seconds and then it just freezes, I've tried to watch videos on how to use the best settings for my PC but I just can't figure it out, can anyone offer any advice? Thanks!

Try using NVEnc instead of x264. Use the HP preset and set the bitrate and buffer to 20000. Optionally don't use a downscale and increase the bitrate and buffer to 30000. Finally, use Game Capture instead of Monitor Capture.
