Recordings Cut Short Before I Press "Stop Recording"

I've been using OBS for a few months now, but recently my recordings have been getting cut off before I press the stop recording button, sometimes it cuts off a few seconds other times it cuts off a few minutes. If it helps to know what file type I save my videos as, I save them as ".ts" normally I would do MP4, but when I select MP4 OBS gives me a warning. But my main issue is the time from my videos getting cut out. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it.

Uh, .TS as in MPEG 2 format? why are you using that old codec? Why not record to MKV (the default) and remux to other format (like MP4) if required for future editing? DaVinci Resolve now handle MKVs natively. My 10-12GB MKVs take maybe 20 seconds to remux to MP4 on a NVMe SSD (remuxing in this case is simply swapping out the 'container' and creating a new file with new extension (and associated encoding wrapper).. it isn't touching the enclosed video recording at all)

Hopefully you are aware that real-time video encoding is VERY computationally demanding. Too many users do the equivalent of driving blindfolded. I recommend monitoring hardware resource (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc) utilization [for ex. using Task manager’s Performance tab and/or Resource Monitor] to see if your system is being maxed out with your settings

And then there are the obvious like, disk space limits, or security software interfering with write operations, etc.

Then, beware poorly written OBS plugins, like StreamElements

Finally, always good etiquette to follow Forum guidelines
