Question / Help Recordings are laggy but gameplay is not MacBook Pro

I just bought a new Mac Book Pro, and when im recording content using the window capture in OBS my gameplay on my TV is fine, however when I go back and view the recording it is really choppy. Is there a reason why this happens?

Could be lots of reasons. Couldn't tell without a logfile.

Do a recording session (complete, start and stop) that demonstrates your problem, then upload a logfile.

That's just a startup log-- there's no recording session in it.
