Question / Help Recording

Hi. I've been trying to record some gameplay for my new channel. My problem is that everytime I record, and then hit save, it only saves 3 minutes, or when I play a minute to test, it saves x amount of seconds. It'll show in the video of me starting OBS recording, then when I go into my Sims 4 game, that's when it starts acting up by not showing the game or anything. The video just ends. I can provide any info and thanks in advance.
 
Hi, I ran into the same issue, I tried to record some lectures and OBS saved only a few minutes of them... I ask for info if it is possible to resolve this kind of problem. Thanks
