Question / Help Recording Xbox One Chat Audio?

Hi,

Does anyone have any ideas or know how to record Xbox One's in-game chat audio?

I will be using the xbox one's stereo chat adapter for the controller and astro with mixamp for headset.

The following limitations are present:
- Does not record my own voice (I want my own voice recorded on a separate line, will use usb)
- Allows me to talk and listen through headset (non-recording)
- Allows me to record only what is being output from the controller (other player's chat).

Important note:
Chat adapter requires a 3.5mm male with 4 poles (3 lines).

Edit: The reason I want to do this is because I want to have each audio input (Game, Game Chat, Commentary) on different lines!

Anyone have ideas? :s

From what I know anything that outputs to your desktop sound wise will be picked up by OBS as long as the audio is set to whatever your output device is. In my case, since I don't have a mic that I can use with my PS3 and PC at the same time, I have to use my headset mic for my PS3 and my studio mic for my laptop in OBS. As long as your capture card is picking up the audio it will stream, but for the commentary part you have to set your mic to whichever mic you want to talk into whether it's the same headset mic or another one.

Thanks for the reply Amenince, however this is more so a hardware related question than a software one (:
