Recording while Streaming

Hello! I am an avid user of OBS Studio and I was wondering if there is anyway to make OBS ignore some sources while I'm recording. Reason being is because sometimes I get nice highlights during my streams and I would like to be able to see them without my face cam and other sources.

Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure what you are asking?
Within a Scene's sources, you can always toggle a source to being Enabled (visible) vs not [not sure actual menu terms]. The icon is the one to the left of the Lock toggle in the Sources List
Another option with a Referenced Audio source would be to switch Scenes
so Scene A (or whatever title) has your face cam and Scene B has other video sources
The challenge would be if you are capturing Audio from same source (ex webcam) used for Video

You can change what is display on top of what by moving items with the Source list (the higher up has priority/is on top)
So within a scene, you can move a source up the list (drag and drop works in 25.0.8) to hide another source and make it visible
but beware having multiple source all running at same time and PC has to process/render them.
Without more details of you setup, not sure I or others can advise further.
But OBS gives you lots of options/ways of changing what is in view vs not, or where on screen/size (ie move from full screen to a Picture-in-Picture style)

So what I'm trying to do is record my gameplay source while streaming. But when I record I would like it to ignore my facecam and other sources I have set up for my stream. I thought I remembered seeing something that allowed me to do something like this but I'm not sure if there is.

Sorry for the confusion,
