Question / Help Recording to Local File Works with .FLV but not .MP4

As the title says I can record locally to .FLV files. The issue is when I try so save as the .MP4 file type. I get a video file that shows the preview thumbnail correctly, but when I play it in VLC I get no video or sound and it makes VLC stutter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just tried that, but I still get the same result. Why must .MP4 not work? :(

I even tried opening it in VirtualDub, but it can't open the file as well.

Ok, well then.. Apparently it's VLC not being able to play .mp4 files? That's weird.

The file played back for me with no problems. Didn't see anything funky in the media info either. Are you missing h.264 decode drivers?
