For months I've been having issues with stutter in my recordings.The frame rate also drops. I've tried OBS Studio, and SLOBS. What I'm using now is Studio.
I've noticed that most of time, if I don't have my game window focused (clicked on), the frame rate on OBS goes back up and doesn't stutter. But once I click back onto the game, it allows the frame rate to drop. And during gameplay, it stutters back and forth for a split second, and looks choppy. The preview of the recording also shows the issues. (The game runs fine, recording doesn't)
I've tried everything I could find, but I'm probably missing something.
I've also got a new SSD to see if that was the issue. I'm running the game from it, as well as the recording path, and it still has the issue.
