I have had this happen twice and both times resulted in the need to restart my PC in order to get OBS to stop. Which resulted in lost footage both times, I have been looking at others who had the same problem to see how to fix it. But the suggestions were less than helpful for my situation as my settings matched the suggested settings prior to the issue occurring.
My current settings are High Quality, .mkv, and NVENC.
My PC specs is
GPU: 2080ti
CPU: I9-9900KF
Ram: 32 GB DDR4
Motherboard: MPG Z390I Gaming Edge AC
