Question / Help Recording stops abruptly

I recently built my own PC last month with the help of a friend and am very new to this PC gaming and the whole recording thing. But I've found it very enjoyable thus far.

I've made a few Let's Plays based off of Steam games (Binding of Isaac, Retro City Rampage, Pool Nation, Castle Crashers, Papers Please, Torchlight. etc.) as well as Minecraft. And I had started to make recordings of games like Borderlands 2 and Saints Row IV. But last week something keeps 'ending my recording' when I play Saints Row or Borderlands, and I'm not sure what happens exactly. It's only those two games, and it happens at about the 4-12 minute mark. The buffering kb size in the bottom of the right hand corner of OBS goes down to 0kb, and the bars on the audio stop moving. OBS doesn't crash or drop frames, it just... 'stops'.

What's weirder, is that I was able to make several videos of those two games just fine a week prior. About 8 of each, all of them about 40 minutes long or longer. But all of a sudden this starts happening. But not any other games I've played.

I have Windows 8.1 and a Razer headset. I already deleted the Razer drivers because they caused problems with OBS according to a forum post on here, so that shouldn't be the problem. I believe my recording settings are okay, as I've tried my best to look at this forum before I made a post. But it's very possible I'm wrong somewhere or made a mistake.
(Also, ignore the preview streams in the log, I was just testing out the video source.)

Thanks in advance.

Recording will not stop unless you yourself hit stop, so I'm guessing you might have accidentally assigned a hotkey that is causing you to stop stream. Could also be that you ran out of disk space for all I know, but I'm guessing that you have plenty of disk space to spare.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I have a 2TB hard drive that I've used roughly 0.4 TB, so I have plenty left.
And I currently don't have any hotkeys assigned. I use a Windows Xbox 360 controller when I play the two games in question, so I'm not even touching the mouse or keyboard while I play.

Edit: If it helps, I should explain that the recording itself continues until I hit stop myself, but the audio and the video stop capturing. When I play the recorded videos, it starts to glitch out and mess up where the audio and video stopped capturing. Which makes that part of the file unwatchable.

I'm not entirely sure, I don't see anything particularly wrong in the log file. Perhaps I'm confused. Perhaps I might need a video or something.

Honestly, it makes me feel better that it's such a weird mistake because I spent a while trying to diagnose the problem. I will recreate it tonight when I get home from work.
What would be the easiest way to post a video file for this?

After a week of messing around with various settings, I finally fixed the problem. It's the most farfetched thing on the planet, but after doing it, my problems went away.

All I did was turn off the vibration on the Xbox 360 Windows controller. Yep. Thats it.
What seems to have happened, is that the vibration would sometimes cause the controller to disconnect from the usb port. But then it would quickly reconnect. I'm thinking this 'jiggle' process would trigger my headset to quickly disconnect and reconnect back to the computer. (Edit: since they are both in side-by-side usb ports.) And somehow in this mess of stupidity, OBS would just not work correctly/ recognize my audio processes. I don't know how to explain it any better than that, especially since the log doesn't show anything peculiar.

So after turning it off, I was able to record audio and video with no problems. And when I turned it back on, I had the same problems as earlier.

TLDR: Sometimes having the smallest things (such as vibration) can mess with your settings.
Thanks to Jim for the replies. Hopefully this can help someone else with a similar problem.
