Question / Help Recording Skype but friends sounds come out robotic

I'm trying to properly set up a stream but when I record my streams the playback and in the stream my friend's voices are robotic. I can't seem to find anything about this online so i'm asking for help here!

Disable audio enhancement in windows playback devices for your speakers/headset. also while you are in there, go to the advanced tab and check what audio format you are using. i'll be either 44100Hz or 48000Hz. whatever it is, make sure OBS is set to that audio format.

https://gist.github.com/a4c48c5a1a81296a0004 the audio was 48k in both the headset and OBS so that wasn't the issue. My friend and I noticed that when I listen to loud videos and he talks loudly he is able to hear himself and or the video through skype. We think it might have something to do with recording his voice twice resulting in some weird robot sounds.
