Question / Help Recording Resolution

Hey everyone,
I've got a small problem recording in the correct resolution.
I'm playing DayZ in a windowed 1280 x 720. When I set it to record full resolution 1280 x 720 inside the game window only it shows about 1/4th of the window. If I set it to my screen resolution (1440 x 900) and scale it down to 1152 x 720 it captures the whole window, but has about 100px black lines around the whole video. This is my current video settings:

Set the resolution manually to 1280x720, when you are previewing the scene, right click the preview of the screen and there should be an option for "fit to screen" under a sub menu, I can't quire remember what it is called.

If that doesn't work, post a log file and it will be easier to troubleshoot

Hey,
I tried that and it was already set to that. I checked around my install and couldn't find a log file. Where can I locate that?

Press Ctrl-F, or if using game capture, go to its properties, and set it to "fit to screen". You should be using the same base resolution as whatever the game is running at though, ideally.
