Question / Help Recording problems. Not sure what is causing it or how to fix it.

Like the title says I've been having problems with recording some videos with OBS studio. Sometimes when I'm done recording and go to check the footage the video starts looking like this:

After a few seconds it goes back to normal, and plays as though nothing happened, but when I try to load the into a video editor (Serif MoviePlus X6 Digital Edition is the video editor I'm using) Then all I get is black screen for the video while the audio is fine.

Here are my computer specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti

Attached is a Log File from the failed recording.
I genuinely have no clue what could be causing this problem and I hope that someone can help me.

Your logfile doesn't appear to show any issues on the OBS side; on your window capture, is Allow Transparency set? That can cause problems if so.
RemotePlay also isn't guaranteed to work cleanly... it can run into weird issues.
Your logfile shows that you're recording to MKV, and your screenshot shows an MP4; are you remuxing the recordings, or was that MP4 recorded to directly (which can cause problems with many video editors)?
You can also try running OBS as Administrator; that can fix some capture issues, though normally game capture hook problems (which you aren't using, but hey, worth a shot and has some other benefits as well).

Well I am remuxing the recording from mkv to mp4 (because my video editor can't use mkv) but I still get the same problem through rather than that gray screen with the footage (not the audio) crackling into place I just get a black screen then the video just pops back in. Also it's not just my Persona 5 videos in window capture that I'm having problems with I also tend to have that problem with game capture on the other let's plays I'm recording as well. The weird thing is that as far as I recall (though I could be wrong as memory is a fickle thing) I didn't start having this problem until I did a series on Tron 2.0 where I had to go into the config files for the game to disable fullscreen mode and install the Tron 2.0 killer app so I could get a decent resolution for the game and used window capture for it. I even tried running OBS as administrator when that series started acting up but that didn't seem to work. Though I could try it again to see if that works.

As for the allow transparency option I'm not seeing it available in properties for window capture, so I have no idea if that could be an issue.

Well unfortunately running OBS studio in administrator mode has done nothing to help with preventing the issue so I have no idea what else to do.
