Question / Help Recording options on a Macbook Pro

Hi guys.

I'd like to stream a bit on my Facebook Page and Twitch. It will not be games, but music. So Logic X and Twitch will be opened. My specs are:

MacBook Pro (15", primo 2011)
Processor: 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7
Ram: 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
My upload speed is 3 mbps

What are my best options?

I have the same computer. I was able to stream Civ 5 on it without issue. You just need to test the settings, and make sure that your more complex track setups don't burn too much CPU... or you need to freeze/bake your tracks to reduce your CPU usage.

The problem is I have no idea what to test. (I'm not so much the technical guy when it comes to computers). What settings should I play around with? And what are your settings when streaming Civ 5? :-) Thanks!
