Question / Help Recording Multiple Videos

I was wondering how to create multiple videos at once. I want to record gameplay and get the full screen recorded and also wanted to run a separate video of my webcam being fully recorded. Then when I go to edit them in my video editing software I have more control over my webcam and gameplay rather than having them coincided with each other at all times.

I tried recording with two OBS applications running but it seems one video gets recorded despite both of them showing signs of it recording.

How do I get both videos to record separately?

Since OBS only outputs to a single video channel, the way i see it you'll unfortunately have to either use a separate recording software to cap the webcam with the start/stop hotkey set to the same as OBS, or use a proper camera and do a little bit of further editing to sync the facecam to the game footage. The only potential downside to using separate software at the same time as OBS that i can see would be the added strain to your CPU having to keep track of both recording instances while keeping both relatively lossless in recording.
