Recording Micro stutter with no dropped frames

Hello :) So iv been trying to record gameplay with OBS lately and for some reason im getting stuttering quite often, but with barely any dropped or skipped frames. Even with my CPU and GPU usage ok. Im recording to a seperate hard drive, and my games are also on a seperate hard drive. I have all the latest window, graphics card and obs updates.

Its like the fps drops from 60 to 30 for a split second or 2. Yet the game is buttery smooth and cpu/gpu usage is fine. Im also using a Gsync 144 hz monitor if that could cause issues?

Heres a small example playing fall guys (im finding it very noticeable playing Detroit become human, but it contains spoilers so i though id test something else, its worse on high motion games it seems)

Timestamps for stutter
0:13
4:10
4:20
4:30 (The most noticable one)
7:50

this is not a great example but you probs get the gist of it lol.

I've now tried disabling Gsync, and also dropping my refresh rate to 120 hz to match the 60 fps recording but sadly i still have the problem :(

Try using Streamlabs, had this issue myself for almost 2 years.
It's something within OBS Studio that isn't syncing properly.

Latest version of streamlabs, is buttery smooth.
