I'm trying to record videos of gameplay. Just starting out with League of Legends right now as it is not that demanding on graphics.
I'm having some problems with recording. OBS reports no FPS drops at all during gameplay but my videos are coming out slightly choppy.. I want to create content on Youtube so I want it to be as smooth as possible.. quality isn't my biggest concern as i don't have the best specs. Here are my settings for obs and my computer specs respectively.
Under encoding, I have the bitrate set to 4000.
Under video I have the FPS set to 30.
I am recording on a 1600 by 900 Monitor and have set the Resolution to that on OBS as well.
My computer specs.
CPU- AMD FX-6300
GPU- Sapphire Radeon R7 250 1 GB DDR5 RAM
RAM- 8 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport.
Any and all help would be appreciated. I just want to be able to record this game with decent quality without the video coming out choppy. As I mentioned before, there are NO FPS drops at all during the game.. with my limited knowledge on OBS in mind, I believe it may have something to do with encoding but am not sure.
