Question / Help Recording lag on Good PC

So I've been trying to record with shadowplay and OBS here recently and I have tried everything. I have factory reset my computer checked for hardware problems, updated drivers literally everything. My recording is SUPER CHOPPY and I don't know why. Here are my specs:

CPU-i5 4690k 3.5GHz Stock CPU Cooler
CPU Cooler-Intel Stock
GPU-Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB
Mobo-MSI Z97 G45 Gaming
PSU-EVGA 500W
RAM-Corsair Vengenace 2x4 GB
HDD-1TB Western Digital

Please give me any suggestions for this because I have no idea what is going on with my recordings thanks a lot to anyone who is willing to help.
