I'm trying to record Subnautica: Below Zero and for some reason my recordings come out choppy. The gameplay itself is smooth as butter. The recording however, gets stuttery very often. This especially happens when I pan quickly or when there's a big screen transition. I tried reducing my in-game FPS to 60, and I switched my rate control to VBR with average bitrate of 50k and max 90k. Neither of these seem to work.
My encoder is NVIDIA NVENC H.264, but there is also an option called NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (new). Not sure which one I'm supposed to use.
My system should be fine to run these as I have a custom built PC and the game itself runs fine.
If someone could help me solve this I would very much appreciate it :)
