Hello,
I currently have OBS set up to record multiple games as video sources, with all audio sources broken out into separate tracks for my mic, game audio, discord audio, and Xbox party audio. I'm going to focus on 1 game for the purposes of this discussion for simplicity, since I expect the other games will require the same fix.
The problem is that I just recently realized that OBS is not picking up "game chat" audio in Black Ops 6, despite being able to hear all other audio from the game in my stream and manual recordings. From what I have read, the "game chat" audio within the game is actually a second audio channel within the application, which is being excluded since I don't have it set up independently.
I'm assuming that the "game chat" audio from within Black Ops 6 needs to be set as a source somehow. There is a drop down menu in the game settings for game chat output (currently set to default) which outputs game chat audio to my headphones, but how do I capture only the "game chat" audio to its own track? This is the last piece of the puzzle to have everything set as it needs to be.
All the fixes or proper settings for something like I've found online seems to be centered around consoles, so those fixes won't work for me. I feel like there's an obvious answer probably staring me in the face, but I'm having a hard time seeing the forest for the trees.
Thanks so much in advance.
