Is there a way to reduce the size of the recording? We are recording our services and we are getting 13GB + files. We are able to reduce the size by a third party but was wondering if there is something in obs that we can do?

Depends on your settings in-use. Generally using lower bitrate is the main way. You can also record at high quality, then use something like Handbrake (a free app) to re-encode in non-realtime with more efficient encoding to compress the completed video files further.
