Question / Help Recording drops frames when capturing on a second monitor

Basically, I have my OBS Studio open on my second monitor and my game on my first monitor. The frame rate in the game itself doesn't change with the recording, but the frames captured by OBS Studio are much lower. Whenever the monitor which has the game on it is highlighted (or whenever I click on it), my FPS drops from 120 in my recording to about 40. However, when I click on the monitor which has my OBS Studio open on it, my frames go back up to 120. Is there anything that I can do to fix this without having to record my game and play my game on the same monitor?
