I am having multiple issues with OBS, but one of the main issues I am running into is when it finally lets me start recording without an error message, once I go to stop the recording it says stopping recording, then continues recording for a long time without actually stopping the recording. I am trying to record on a laptop, but I don't think that should be a huge issue. Or can it only be handled on PC's? Maybe someone could suggest better settings to apply? I also included a file with the specs of my laptop if that helps. I am trying to start a gaming youtube channel, but these issues are stopping my progress :(
I am trying some things to possibly help. I am deleting programs I don't use as often such as Blender and some games I don't play much. I will update this post if any of that helps this issue.
