Anytime I record minecraft my fps gets capped to 60fps.

When playing minecraft I usually get 500+fps but once I start recording I get 60

Is anyone else getting this? is there anyway to fix this?

Why would you even want to get higher than 60fps. Youtube and twitch support 60fps max

unless you have a high frame-rate monitor, you wouldnt be able to see any kind of difference ingame between a constant 60, or 500+ fps

it seems odd that OBS would be purposely limiting the minecraft framerate to 60, but it still shouldnt be any kind of problem, even if it does.

Im not trying to record above 60fps its just that I normally get 500+fps when playing but once I start recording It instantly drops down to 60

It's just that I feel stuttering whenever I start recording, like when Im playing miencraft the game just feels choppy and not as smooth as it usually is.
