Question / Help Recording but not in MP4?

Hello.

I wanted to ask if it's possible to record in another format than MP4? For some reason my Sony Vegas Pro 11 won't work with .MP4 files (not sure why) but I can't figure out how I change the file without using a converter.

Is it possible?

my mp4 output should actually be valid -- it's just that vegas seems to hate something about them. probably the order in which I save the data. try outputting to FLV and see if vegas can open that instead (though not sure if it can)

I'll try to get vegas opening the mp4 files in the near future
