I'm using OBS for recording, NOT streaming, with Windows 10 laptop, internal camera, Audient ID14 audio interface to a pair of external mikes.
Some videos record without any audio - despite having the right sources selected / muted, and the OBS audio meters showing the sound that should be getting recorded. I thought this happened if I didn't plug all the hardware together before launching the software, but it has now happened when I did follow the right sequence scrupulously so I can't see any trend to when the audio is or isn't captured.
I assume there's no way of 'getting the sound back', it presumably genuinely wasn't recorded. However, what's causing this? And how do I prevent it happening in future?
Log file from an instance where the audio was not recorded is attached, can add one from an instance where audio was captured if helpful.
