Recording and sound

Hello,
There is a live event that I would like to record during my work. So I'd like to record the video and the audio but as I will be attending a meeting, I would like to mute the live audio that I will record. After a few tries, when I mute the audio of what I am recording, the audio track is just not recorded. Do you know a way out?

use virtual-audio-cable:

1. browser with live-event uses audiocable 2
2. obs records audio from audiocable 2
3. your meeting runs through audiocable 1
4. dont use WindowsSoundMapper ;)
