I'm trying to record an swf file using OBS, the problem is when the video is imported into Sony Vegas I'm noticing the sync looks slightly off. I'm not sure if it's OBS because I've played the swf in different players, in Vegas if i scrub the timeline, the audio is 5 frames early using this player http://flashplayer.fullstacks.net/ and if i use the standalone official flash player the audio is about 7 frames early. No idea why one seems slightly better than the other.
Anyone have any experience with recording stuff like this? I mean it's an old swf cartoon i want to convert to video. Both players are definitely off by a few frames though, i can tell when the mouths change on the characters. I can drag the audio track ahead a bit to fix it but is there any other way of fixing it? I can send someone the swf if you want to try recording it and viewing in a video editor, I'm not sure i can post it here because it's probably nsfw.
Anyone any ideas?
