Recording a Program Audio

Hi there,
How can I record the audio coming from an app that could be youtube music from the browser, a metronome specific app, a drum loop app?

I would like to record the Audio from whatever App is running on the desktop but not the video.

or in obs when you need it in background open it in a backgrounded window !

I need to record a video coming from a video camera and the audio from different apps. Capturing the Windows of the apps and Running them on background could help to take only the audio from them. thank you.

Look how the obs audio-mixer works. Its exactly for that purpose! Ensure that the playout channels of your soundcard are set in the global settings as "Desktop audio" device. Then you may level it by its according fader within the audio-mixer. Your camera-audio (if there is such) will get its own mixer channel within the obs-mixer. There you may lower (or even completely disable) the audio level from the camera (hence leaving your desktop audio alone in the target recording).
