Question / Help Recorded Video and Audio are fine when played back in VLC but black/grayscale in editors

To clarify: The only editors I've tried this in are Lightworks, Windows Movie Maker, and Premiere (Trial). In Lightworks I was seeing the full color but playback was choppy and the interface didn't feel very intuitive to me. In Windows Movie Maker, the video is just plain black. In Premiere, almost all color is lost (except for a few shades of magenta/green for some reason).

But the footage plays back PERFECT when I view it in VLC before any editing is done.

What am I doing wrong? What do I need to change?

When I record with ShadowPlay the footage is fine and it's an MP4 just like with OBS. Here are my encoding settings in OBS: http://i.imgur.com/cP8hJxd.png

Tried switching the codec but to no avail. I don't like ShadowPlay overall and would much rather prefer to use OBS but I'm struggling here.
