Recorded screen several times, got several videos (20 hours total) in the destination folder, but also a 100Gb 20-hour vid in the default Videos lder

I had something weird happen with OBS. I have to record a particular window for a huge amount of time (for 78 hours to be exact), and make it multiple videos, so I have to stop recording and start again every single time.

I have the destination folder set correctly to one on my D drive, which is a HDD, and everything had been fine and dandy. But as I was on my 20th hour or so of recording, I noticed that I was running out of space on my C drive (which is an SSD), and I just couldn't tell why. But then I happened to look at the default Videos folder on C and noticed this giant 100GB and 20-hour-long file. It turns out that this is a recording of not just that particular window, but the entire desktop with that window opened, uninterrupted, and lasts the entire time I was turning recording on and off.

Why did this happen? I had set the folder to where I wanted it to be, I had stopped the recording multiple times, I wasn't even recording the entire desktop but just that one window...

I have a theory. During that whole recording session, I had not one, but two "Window Capture" sources, left over from back when I recorded speedruns and I had to have separate windows for LiveSplit and the game. Window Capture 1 was set to the window I needed to record, and WIndow Capture 2 was, as I thought back then, set to nothing (Back when I did speedrunning it was set to the game itself, but since the game was unopened during this recording session it wasn't supposed to do anything, right?)

So, could this have been it? Could Window Capture 2 have somehow been recording the entire desktop and saving it somewhere I didn't tell it to?

I have to know the reason, because there are still 58 more hours of footage for me to record and I do not want to damage my SSD with these 100gb files. This is also a race against time, I need these recordings to be done as soon as possible.

I will be thankful for any help you might provide.
