Question / Help Recorded file?

Hey guys,

Could someone explain what codec is used in the files written to the hard drive, as youtube doesn't really understand them "as is" (recognizes up to 480p res without anti-aliasing). And even a standard media player thinks video res is only 540p while the actual video is recorded in 1080p. Could someone elaborate on how to recrtify this? What I need to do is to be able to upload recorded files to youtube in hd without additional processing, but atm I was unable to tweak obs in any way to achieve this. Thanks!

Pretty sure if you save in .flv you can upload direct to youtube without any intermediate steps.
