Question / Help Record without live streaming?

I cant see a way to record with OBS without having to live stream to my youtube account. is there a way to do this?

If so could someone post a link or give me some directions to follow to do so?

On the forums near the top click "Resources". Then on that page click "Top Resources". Then the third link is called, "OBS-Studio: High quality recording and multiple Audio Tracks". Click that and follow the guide.
