I've been seeing this issue intermittently - where I will stream / record at the same time. After the stream is finished, I shut down the stream and stop recording.
When I try to view my resulting .mp4 file (using either VLC or Window Media Player), the result is pure audio. Windows also is unable to describe the video resolution properly. However, the video itself seems quite large. For example, a 3 hour stream will net me a 4gig (ish) file. This leads me to believe that the video itself is good, but the header for the file is bad.
As noted above, I can't pinpoint when or why this happens. Sometimes the full 3 hour video is good. I've (while streaming) started recording, stopped recording (around 5 seconds later), checked the resulting video, and verified that it looks good. After 3 tests in a row, I felt confident that everything would work so I hit record and went for my usual 3 hours. After that, I stopped it and once again I got an audio-only file.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look at - or is there a known issue somewhere about this?
Thanks!
