I'm really confused about how to do this. I don't know if this is actually the right software to use; if you have a better suggestion, please let me know. I'm new to this whole streaming thing and have absolutely no clue what I'm doing.
Basically, I'm in a pair of D&D campaigns that are streamed live on Twitch. I'm trying to learn to take better notes while paying attention to the game, but I know I miss stuff. I'd just re-watch it on Twitch, or YouTube if it ends up there, but I noticed that some episodes are missing, so I was hoping to record it directly to my computer so I don't have to remember to go back and download every episode. It's particularly important to me because I've been "elected" the party scribe for both campaigns. So I've tried a couple things, but so far nothing is working for me, so it must be time for some help.
Using this (or any other) software, how can I record a live Twitch stream as it's being broadcast? It's not my stream, and I need to be able to see and hear other programs while the recording is happening in the background. I'm using Win10, not sure which update version, not sure of the rest of the specs of my machine. Can someone please help me?
